The $500,000 donation!

To mark their significant 10th anniversary, LOVE TO DREAM™ have donated half a million dollars’ worth of swaddles, sleep bags and sleep suits to Geelong Mums, St Kilda Mums, Eureka Mums and other sister organisations around Australia.

After finding out that due to extreme poverty, as many as 1 in 6 families* can't afford to provide basic necessities for their babies, including warm clothing and sleep garments, founder and CEO of LOVE TO DREAM Hana, felt compelled to help.

Children comprise 24.3% of all people living in poverty in Greater Melbourne and the proportion is even higher in the regional areas, at 29.2%[ii].

Geelong Mums General Manager Julia Roache said “Whenever we provide material aid to families it means that they are able to channel their finances to other necessities such as food and rent. This partnership with LOVE TO DREAM shows a vulnerable family that the community cares about them.”

Hana and the team at LOVE TO DREAM came up with the idea of donating the sleep garments after being made aware of the difficult circumstances that thousands of families face while trying to meet their basic needs. As Hana explains; “With this donation we hope to help ensure that families experiencing financial hardship are able to keep their babies warm this winter and to raise awareness of the important work done by our country’s incredible charities,”

"Making a difference and giving back is a core value of LOVE TO DREAM and this significant initiative is an extension of our wider commitment to social responsibility as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary."

“We feel grateful and fortunate to have been able to deliver our mission over the past 10 years to help babies and parents achieve safer, better, longer sleep.“

“Good sleep is critical to a family's mental and physical health and that is why it's so important to us to reach out and support these families in need. Sharing the love is one of the core values that has driven our company since day one and being able to help so many families is only possible with the direct action of 14 amazing charity partners. We’re so grateful to them for enabling this initiative."
